Chris has formed a multi-disciplined team of expertise within MTL. Chris' strength is his ability to develop strong long-term relationships with key experts, providing high level support for client projects. Chris has a passion for power station engineering, and an interest in promoting NZ's skills in power plant design and construction to overseas power plant developers. Chris is currently serving on the board of the NZ Geothermal Association.
Don has 30 years design, construction, commissioning and maintenance experience in Power Generation, Water Treatment, Dairy Processing, Pulp and Paper in NZ, Australia, Pacific Region, UK, USA and Canada.
Chris has a wide knowledge of structural engineering including the design of structures for geothermal power stations, including steamfield and piping structures, and civil works including roads, storm water drainage and treatment and earthwork design. Chris also has experience with the design of commercial buildings, industrial support structures and petroleum industry structures. Chris has lived and worked in Zambia, Africa on a range of civil and structural projects
James is a mechanical engineer with over 18 years of experience delivering international building and infrastructure projects. He specialises in the project management of multidisciplinary projects and regularly undertakes contract management, Owners Engineer roles, scheduling and risk management. James's broad project experience and knowledge of Client operations allows him to appreciate and focus on the key project drivers for delivering successful projects.
Stephen has managed the Drafting Section of MTL for the last 6 years and leads a team of 5 fulltime designers, specialising in Mechanical, Civil and Structural design. Draughting packages include; Plant 3D (P&ID &3D Piping), Revit Structure and Project Review Naviswork Software
Dan regularly undertakes feasibility studies, detailed design and construction management. He has completed numerous studies for thermal power generation projects including landfill gas, boiler and steam turbine installations, waste to energy and geothermal projects. Dan spent four years working for Geodynamics Power Systems/Exorka developing Kalina Cycle designs.
